Delta County Joint School District  50J is located in western Colorado 300 miles southwest of Denver.  The district covers over 1700 square miles in Delta, Gunnison, Montrose and Mesa counties. There are schools in the communities of Cedaredge, Crawford, Delta,  Hotchkiss and Paonia serving over 5000 students.
